Center for Health Sciences Lab
SAA designed and provided documents for the demolition and improvements to Laboratory 33-131 in the Center for Health Sciences. The laboratory space renovation consisted of accessibility compliance, lab utility installation, fire separation upgrades and revisions tailored to the P.I. requirements. The existing laboratory cabinetry was preserved and reconfigured into the desired arrangements to reduce project waste and cost.
Particular care was given to have utilities brought to the researchers. The cabinet mounted lab shelving conceals the under mounted utility lines and task lighting. Data drops from the ceiling and floor utilities were routed through the shelving and to the raceways to achieve a clean installation.
