Clark Library Seismic Renovation

The William Andrews Clark Memorial Library is a 18,000 sq. ft. brick masonry building constructed in 1926. The library is located in the historic West Adams District of Los Angeles. In 1964 the library was designated as a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument and is listed on the California Register of Historic Places.

SAA prepared an evaluation report to improve the building from a "Poor" UC Seismic classification to a "Fair" and/or "Good." The evaluation included MEP upgrades, accessibility solutions as well as addressing sustainable measures to extend the building's lifespan.
